Our People Are Our Brand

Getting people engaged starts with finding a common ground with what they think the company stands for and if those values resonate with them. For some companies, this exercise is a huge challenge. I am glad to say in our company, it is more of a celebration.

We went through a journey of letting our people understand that a brand is more than a label wrapped around us to cover who we are underneath. It is who we are and what we do everyday at work. It isn’t a coat we put on to go to work. It’s our skin, a part of our being.

At Zoom, it feels right to be here. Our people don’t need to change who they are or to act differently to fit in.

Being genuine is our code and that applies to everything we do. Anyone who felt out of place naturally gravitated away and seek their own way of working elsewhere. That’s a bit brutal but that’s the honest truth.

This is what makes Zoom unique.
