As the Business Development Manager at Zoom Recruitment, Greg has the ability to relate to all types of people regardless of whether he is visiting new clients, recruiting new candidates or interacting with team members in the office.

He builds commonality through every phone call with his prospective clients, whether this is based on a hobby, family, interests or just advising of our services and capabilities. Listening to what our clients need and understanding what they want from their prospective employees is fundamental to our operations at Zoom Recruitment, and something that Greg excels at in his role. This also extends to taking the time to find out what motivates our candidates and what their career goals are – resulting in finding the right match for both our clients and our candidates.

At Zoom Recruitment, all our people are driven to overdeliver as consultants, and Greg reflects what we value because his focus is on exceeding people’s expectations rather than just meeting them.

SUPPORTING OTHERS:

Greg has been in the recruitment industry for around 17 years and possesses a wealth of knowledge. He’s always willing to share what he knows with his team members when they need a hand. His desire to help people has been translated to his broader community as well. He’s part of a local community garden and when the person who was taking care of the beehive passed away, he stepped in to keep the hive going and has been training to be a beekeeper since then. These simple acts of kindness are what Make People Matter.

PUTTING THE RELATIONSHIPS FIRST:

Part of the fabric of our company is that the relationships (people) come first. Both in the workplace and at home, Greg never lets relationships fall to the wayside. He lives our values by building relationships with clients, candidates and other staff members at work, and outside of work, his family is his focus. Zoom Recruitment offers our staff the flexibility to be able to work both from home and in the office where possible, and always supports Greg with any time that is needed to look after his family.

Greg is self-motivated and is a real go-getter both at work and in his personal life. If he wants to do something, he just goes and does it. He has a great sense of adventure and loves being active – he rides his road bike, takes his mountain bike down a few trails, rides his motorbike, and goes camping with his family. It's clear that he's always eager to experience new things and find exciting new hobbies, which is perhaps why his philosophy is so apt: “Look forward to something, plan something, do something, be active.”
