Think about a time at work when a manager recognised your efforts, or a member of your team thanked you for being supportive. Remember how you felt when you were on the receiving end of somebody else’s gratitude. Now consider how someone else might feel if you passed on your gratitude to them.

Our focus this festive season is on encouraging our team to express their gratitude for one another, and to pass on the spirit of thankfulness in the wider community. After another very challenging year of learning to navigate our way through a Covid world, people are experiencing exhaustion, anger, frustration and even hopelessness. Gratitude for the people around us can help to shine just a sliver of light in what has felt like a very dark 2 years.

Through our video, we hope to encourage our staff to show gratitude for one another and also inspire our viewers to pass on the spirit of thankfulness in their own lives. A simple ‘thank you’ can go a very long way.
